Introducing Maddy
Hi, I’m Maddy — founder of Salt Society.
I’m from Tauranga, New Zealand, and for me, the beach has never just been somewhere to swim or spend summer. It’s always been my escape.
It’s where I go when life feels loud, when I’m overwhelmed, stressed, or thinking too much. There’s something about the ocean that makes everything slow down. You stop overthinking, stop rushing, and remember that not everything needs to feel so serious.
That feeling became Salt Society.
I wanted to create clothing that feels the same way the beach does — clean, simple, effortless. Pieces that look good, feel good, and don’t require overthinking.
And the “Society” part? That comes from knowing this feeling isn’t just mine. For so many of us, the beach is a place to reset, breathe, and just be. Salt Society is a reminder that you’re not alone in needing that.
